Picolight’s Fibre Channel transceivers are used by leading host bus adapter,
storage switch and other storage equipment vendors for multimode and single
mode fiber interconnections. The products are available in 1/2/4G small form

Key Features of Parallel Optics Modules
15-40G Parallel Optics Modules
Picolight parallel optics modules enable very short reach line card to line
card, module to module or shelf to shelf connectivity for high-end routers,
optical and storage switches deployed in high performance metro computing
and switch environments. These modules are compliant to the SNAP12 MSA which
was formed around Picolight's 100 pin BGA connectorized parallel optical modules
and is adopted by the leading systems OEMs for chassis intra-connect. Picolight
SNAP 12 modules transmit or receive data through an array of 12 lasers or
12 detectors aligned in an MTP/MPO connector. The module pairs are connected
through widely available 12-element fiber ribbon cable. These parallel modules
transport a large amount of bandwidth on low power and EMI budgets. Key features
